Mark Taylor is an experienced horseman who was mentored by the great achiever in New Zealand Racing and founder of White Robe Lodge, Brian Anderton.

Like most people in the racing industry Mark began his career on the ground as a stable hand before his leadership qualities led to his role as stud groom.

White Robe Lodge is a proven thoroughbred nursery and stood the champion stallions Mellay and Noble Bijou.

Mark worked closely with Noble Bijou and this would lay a strong foundation of knowledge as he witnessed first hand the making of a champion stallion in New Zealand

Mark returned after 3 years of working with one of the most respected trainer/breeders across the Tasman to for fill his own dreams and it was Tamac Stud Farm that would see him invest his time and energy for years to come. Tamac Stud Farm is a family run business and this tight knit team can be seen proudly at the sales with Mark accompanied by wife Cath and their band of horses. Mark is looking to continue building the reputation of the stud and increase the quality of his broodmares that produce the future of racing all over the world.
